In the coming months I will be releasing my debut album in a lovely vinyl package. I couldn’t be happier with the representation of where I was at musically at that time and I will be so glad to get it out to people so I can move on. I am 7 tracks into my next record which will come with a homemade art/lyric book which I have started.
Although, I may not have the largest reach, I am so proud of these works that I would call that a great success. As it is already a success to me, it really doesn’t matter to me how many people like/snub it. This is not an easy, “cop-out” for succeeding or an excuse for failure; it just means that I’ll continue to create more. I do hope you like it all as I like it and then we’re sharing something which is pretty cool. It’s great when my friends that I respect so highly say nice things about it, means way more than any stranger.
After months of “buzz” and stuff on bandcamp, I’m running up pretty dry right now so I thought I’d say something, MAKE MY PRESENCE KNOWN! I’m playing some shows at the end of the month and I’m on a couple of compilations coming out so you may here some new stuff there. ( A lot of this is very “tongue in cheek” as I don’t fully believe anyone cares that much…just trying to be semi-pro). Spread the word please so I don’t have to!

Everyone should check out the new Citizens and Bonehouse recordings though; they’re some local bands that have I’ve been enjoying lately.

I’ve recorded about 7 new songs, so far, for my new album. I’m so excited with the direction it’s heading! It’ll probably be done and out for the beginning of next year…financial restraints of being a solo artist.
Anyway, I was thinking of taking photos of all my friends to make a massive collage as part of art for it/ some sort of release. Some people would have their photo on their album cover, I’d rather loads of friends…that ought to confuse people that don’t know me. So if we’re hanging out soon and I’m getting snappy, it has a purpose!

This week I have the privilege of playing with Franz Nicolay and many other great Scottish artists. Wednesday I’m in Dundee at Bar Cerberus and Thursday at Sleazys with Esperi and Lovers Turn to Monsters. (I’m putting on that second show so a real emphasis on coming down to that!!)

Hope to see many friendly faces.
